We invite you to learn about the roots of The Sacred Healing Walk, understand its profound impact, and experience it together after breakfast on Saturday morning, June 19th.

A gift of ancient wisdom

This ceremony is a gift of ancient wisdom shared with Yogi Bhajan by the Hopi Nation, known as the Ancient Guardians of the earth.

Their ancestors met on the hallowed land of Ram Das Puri in the Jemez Mountains every hundred years to pray to the Great Spirit. By walking on a path of concentric circles and chanting with focused intention, they created a powerful magnetic vortex which healed both the participants and Mother Earth.

Yogi Bhajan integrated this ceremony into our Summer Solstice gatherings and it is truly a highlight of the event.

Thousands of us have walked shoulder to shoulder under the vast sky, step by step, breath by breath. We pause at four altars, sharing our heart’s prayer, surrendering our burdens to the earth, and projecting love to the entire planet.

Not only an experience of personal transformation, the Sacred Healing Walk is the crown jewel of our International Peace Prayer Day, a day dedicated to prayer and honoring those who work for peace.

Mother Earth is waiting for our steps once again to reverberate a soulful vibration to heal the world.
